How to Apply Eye Cream
Follow these tips to know how to apply eye cream correctly.
1. Choose the best eye cream that best addresses all of your concerns; whether it is puffiness and dark circles or fine lines and wrinkles there are creams to address these issues. Also make sure that you are not sensitive to the ingredients.
2. It is a good idea to be prepared ahead of time; gather everything you will need in preparation such as your eye cream and a cotton swab. When you have set out the necessary items, wash and dry your face.
3. Get your cotton swab and dip it into the eye cream; ideally you will just want a bit of it on the tip of the swab. If you use too much, you may find some of it in your eyes; your skin will only be able to absorb so much of the cream.
4. You should dab the eye cream in three places; a quarter inch from the lash line, under the corner of the inner eye and under the corner of the outer corner of the eye. This is the same for both eyes.
5. With your middle finger, work the cream into the skin surrounding your eyes. The middle finger, as opposed to the index finger, will allow for a more delicate touch. From the inner eye dab to the outer eye dab tap your finger to spread the cream under your eye and then work it back and forth until all the cream has been absorbed. As you work it into your skin, the eye cream should naturally work its way upwards and you need not worry about working it up towards the eye.
